Nope. I would not feel great about that.

I would only take Kane for cheap.
And tanev + jv is an overpayment for Reinhart.
If it was a 1st rounder from Buffalo....

The point being, despite some clerical errors, drafting is definitely looking more promising. And just in time I might ad, given that we're entering a period of quality draft positions.

I like this idea. Colorado has a few nice pieces. Rantanen would be an amazing pickup. There are a lot of teams that should/would want Tanev. Having Edler out 4-6 weeks means we will be losing. I wonder how Stecher will do with a different partner...

In six drafts Gillis put ten players in at least one NHL game, of those ten only three are actively still playing in the NHL. In 2014 Benning put four players, Virtanen, McCann, Forsling & Tryamkin, in the league for at least a few games....think about that for a second!!

That's how bad our drafting has been. There should be a MINIMUM of six players playing from the Gillis draft years playing. Which is only one per year....pathetic.

And just for clarification Marwood, that's not hysterical posting, it's just translating, through words, what I'm reading for the sake of conversation

Like I said I like Bo on the first unit ,I don't like the Twins and Edler on the first unit.

WD would never remove the Sedin's from the first unit, although I agree it's worth a look. Bo, Sedin's, Loui and Stetcher is worth a try.

I don't want kane, but his value for use would be his ability to play physical in our top 6 and get in on the fore check. I don't think anyone who is advocating for him here expect that he will solve our scoring woes.

Colorado would be an interesting trade partner for Tanev. Although they wouldn't want Edler. Edler to a contender interests me the most.

Tanev for Kane is an overpayment. Reinhart not being moved. If so straight swap no add ons. Then this market can make fun of him being too slow and small and wish they had JV back lol.

I think Willie is gone at the end of the year and The twins are gone after next year so it is better to start planning now for LAS (life after Sedins).

You got to start the transition sooner or later. Having your best player (Bo ) succeed is something that could save WD. Riding out the twins is a death sentence.
