It didn't look too bad, and he didn't come off right away either. He was just being prudent.

Yeah, a lot of people are overreacting at the moment. If it's a pulled groin/hammy they're not going to put him back out there tonight no matter what the score is. If it's more than that then we'll cross that bridge when we get there, but other than the 2 freak accidents(and being out of shape from the first was instrumental in the second) the last 2 years he's been healthy. Sure he missed a few games this year, but most people get the flu at least a few times in their life, so that's not really on him. And when a player is sick, even if they can play they're banned from coming in because they don't want to get anyone else sick.

If Girgensons isn't picked by Vegas he likely gets another 1 year deal at about the same money he's at now.

They can go with someone for their AHL team who could still have NHL upside like Carrier

I don't know how RFAs work for expansion. They need to release a CBA like document about it. Maybe they have, but I haven't seen one, not that I've looked very hard.

Nothing that kept him out for any length of time. Just the one concussion. He traded for an injured player, sure. If you want to complain about that, not knowing if he could ever come back then sure. But every single player in the league has a history of minor injuries.
