Some people can run a mile in 8 minutes. Those same people will suck at running a marathon because they don't know how to pace themselves = ENDURANCE.
If that doesn't clarify, I guess I expect too much out of people who watch Archer. - BeadyEyedDouche
If you run an 8 minute mile you've got some problems if you're running flat out...
Maybe 5 minutes. That's just a horrible comparison, I bet you marathon runners would whip your ass in just a one mile race. |

Should be a dive on Karlsson - doppelthat
Don't be too greedy. Karlsson set up Reinhart on the half-boards perfectly on that Kane goal.

You have to click away the ads. It's like a little mini-game to get to watch the game.
Edit: Even with AdBlock it still has ads. - Wetbandit1
Ohhhhh... I will look into installing ad block on the android box. Thought it would be easier than this to watch a game. I had to hook up a mouse to the box because the little remote thing that comes with it is piss poor to work with.
So basically, go to the Reddit Nhlstreams and look for one that isn't too click bait-y and go from there? Almost worth it to give Bettman his 34.95 cad a month to watch a basement team "compete". |

Bad games from Larrson and McCabe, other then that it was a great game. Good to see O' Reilly with a 3 point night! |

I'm going back to last season. Idk. He looks a lot more winded than the rest of the team when he's on the bench. Observation.
Plenty of great Hockey players have had sportsman's asthma. It's really not that crazy.

No. I don't play games and haven't since n64. I bought one of those android boxes that sits on top of your tv. I'm really late to the game with this streaming stuff and it confuses me. |

Hoooo-kaaaay.
A 5 minute mile. Not 8. Right.
Still. It's not a horrible comparison.
To compare the endurance needed to run a mile vs. the endurance needed to run a marathon.
with
The endurance needed to ace a 12 minute COMBINE EXAM vs the endurance needed to play an 82 game season at 20+ minutes a night ON TOP OF full-time practice, 41 road games a year and having been bred in the USA hockey program vs the Canada hockey program
is a pretty decent comparison. Not my fault you can't comprehend the reading.

I was going to say if you have an XBOX one it would be really easy, the ads don't really seem to be there.
But you should still be able to do it on the Android box. You have to look for a less obvious "X" if that makes any sense, usually the one that is really obvious is just going to bring up a pop-up and not close the ad, but at the same time even when it does close the ad a pop-up appears. You have to be fast with it to close the pop-up before it can fully open. It takes a little time, but you'll get the hang of it. |

It is a horrible comparison, it's an outdated way of thinking, we know better now, marathoners might not be great sprinters like for 100m, but they can run a mile really fast. They just specialize because running a marathon is hard work. I know right? Who'd have thunk it?

There's no competition going on. Either you see it like I do or you don't. I think of all the things he excells at his ENDURANCE IS HIS WEAKEST TRAIT and have said that is SAYING A LOT since the ONE FAULT I'M FINDING IN HIS GAME IS HIS ENDURANCE.
FFS
The kid looks more winded than the other guys, who honestly don't look all that winded. Much like Ristolainen looked very fatigued at the end of the last Nolan year and less so at the end of last year, I think Eichel and this is important:
EICHEL, having played in the USA Hockey program, which has made strides in the past decade but is still eons behind the Canadian program, and having played Hockey in College instead of minors, as well as learning how to pace yourself over a 60 minute game that you play a 1/3 of, stretched over an 82 game schedule leads me to believe, based off observation, he simply does not have the Endurance of his peers.
Do I need to write an essay? It's something that can be worked on once he learns how to pace himself, much like the guy running a mile vs the guy running a marathon comparison.
You put me in an air controlled environment, well-rested and with top of the line shoes, I can probably slam-dunk a basketball. Put me in a game and I'll probably get slam-dunked on before I even touch the ball.
Hence Combine results do not = Real life results.
Otherwise we would have never heard of a guy named Tom Brady. |
