It wasn't that long ago that we were all fawning over "Lioneater" on this board. And when he inevitably gets traded to another team and ends up scoring 15 - 20, many who root against him now will say GMTM was a fool. See Tyler Myers, Drew Stafford, Joel Armia, Mikhail Grigorenkoetc for reference. - SabreWest

Remember when the congressperson from Corning got caught having tickle parties in his Georgetown townhouse with his staffers, and during an interview Larry King asked him if he was GAY?
I was talking with somebody in the office about the interview the next day, and the boss walked by and overheard me. I had to go for sensitivity training.

Seems your boss should have been the one too endure that adventure.

Maybe Zemgus just doesn't have the talent at the NHL level. A player with talent but in a slump would still be noticeable in their efforts to produce points. Zemgus is like the guy a team accepts because they're short bodies for a full roster. You know, he the guy that you tell hey, just go out there and stand there so the rest of us don't have to forfeit. - sskkoo1
I get it...they're not the greatest but here's how I look at it...as of right now they have risto, four top-four in Kulikov, bogo, gorges and McCabe plus a bottom-pairing in Franson...and they can all move the puck well save for probably gorges - Michael Pachla

If the on ice impact becomes similar by the time the deadline comes trade the guy who has higher value. Dont really need both of them here. - Sabresfan-365
If they can both get going why not keep both ? Need to fill a roster. Until we have a BETTER replacement . And not a maybe .

Because at their best they both fill the same bottom 6 role, which we have in the pipeline in abundance at a cheaper cost and more speed. - Sabresfan-365
Good point I guess. Want to make sure they are ready .

Also need to give them a fair shot too. If its a mediocre pick then Id say pass on it but if you can add them in a larger deal or something like that it would be ideal.
