I told them they had 2 more points than the Canucks, and they went on to say that every game is end to end. They give up chances and they get chances. Hard to argue with leafs fan logic. Congrats on having the most exciting team. 👍

The Leafs have a large fan base only due to people in their 40s and 50s who grew up with only two Canadian choices. They could go with the French team and everything that went with French Culture --- the FLQ, Trudeau the Senior or an English team with no apparent baggage and whose names sounded like their own.

Now do not kid yourself....those days are over. The fan base has aged and yes, they do get to go to that one game with their kids to try to relive the past --- the numbers are fewer and fewer.

Also, TSN lost everyone but the Leafs and Jets ---- if they were so impressed by tne leafs numbers --- why are those games not available outside of local markets and do not say it is the 'contract' because money talks and BS walks.

And have you seen TSN ratings? Again... BS walks....

Changed the goal scorer now they just need to adjust the assists. Sutter passes to Stecher who passed to Sbisa who shoots and tipped by Horvat, conclusion, Horvat assisted by Sbisa and Sutter. Should have been a 3 point night for Stecher

In all fairness we had the Bruins on the ropes & couldn't close it out either.
We may have no cups but we have had some good runs at it.
Also some Presidents cups & Hart trophy winners.
All said it beats the expansion years & sweat hog division & the old mausoleum days.

Tonight will be quite the test for Sbisa. If is game holds true with the additional minutes, and it continues, it may be time for a few to give him a break. He's improved each season since he was acquired and has been valuable so far.

He might end up being a better trade piece than just someone left exposed for the expansion draft...

if Sbisa shows he can handle a greater load with Tanev and Edler out, then Nux should trade Tanev and get that help they need for a legit top line center replacement (not that Horvat won't continue to improve) like a RNH or someone of similar ilk...
