went to game Sunday night and wondered what the (frank) that was all about....once in a game....ok fine....but that was annoying, to say the least.

- landros 2

I would have been fine with it just after goals. Or maybe after a penalty to the opposing team only. Lou says "The Flyers are going on the PECO Power Play" ... The crowd replies "WOOO!". That would be fine I'd think.

How are things in the shire. I saw the young lad meeting and greeting hockey players. Was that last night?
- mayorofangrytown

Yep! His teammate (and occasional defensive partner) is a cousin of Torey Krug. Since this was the only Bruins visit this year, the teammate's dad treated M4 and me to 2 tickets. They just happened to be in the same section as my mom-in-law's season tickets.

No manners these days. You would think people would know by now when it's appropriate to "WOOO"

I just read Jake Vorecek's take on the whole "woo" fad.....couldn't have said it better myself.

Yeah I was looking at Carchidi and Panotch's stuff on my phone. The beats and team seem to want it gone. Of course the twitter trolls are feeding.

Panotch also had quotes from Travis Joseph Kony and Hakstol, which tells me Panotch is on a crusade (as he has been on Twitter) and is just asking every player how annoying it is. And it is annoying. And needs to stop. But a small part of me is tickled by the fact that the "wooing" is causing Panotch's twitches to go into overload.

The situation begged for a timeout to be called after the Bruins tied the game. Coaching 101.
- PLindbergh31

it really isn't coaching 101 anymore. Firstly coaches like to keep the TO in case of a challenge needed later in the game. Plus the timeout for a tired team after an icing late in the game. I get why he would be reluctant to use it

It also allows Panotch to write about things that are not what is happening on the ice. His typical MO. Had I known he hated it so, I would have WOOed at him when he walked past the Draft Kings Lounge last night.

We would have done much better if we weren't stuck with Bad Goalie Steve Mason and Fraud Giroux last night.
- jmatchett383

seriously, they almost lost cause Mason didn't stop 9 of 9. Loser....trade him for a 7th rounder

If it's affecting the Flyers players, the fans should stop.
