Yup
I think my favorite Clapton album of all time is Derek and the Dominoes, his work with Duane Allman is breathtaking.

re filler, you can pretty much say that about any band. - BiggE
Oh, absolutely. But there are people (not saying you) that act like every song ever written by them is golden, simply because it was written by them. |

But they are now part of the tour - dragonoffrost
Didn't know that.
But Christmas Eve Sarajevo, TSO's signature song, was actually released on Savatage's album one year before TSO released it (same version). |

Feel better now? |

Yep two bands touring. One (considered east coast and one considered west coast) members of each in either band. Funny thing is this year on the day of the Philly show it's Philly and Orlando they are at. |

Exactly.
They were first.
They were influential.
I get it.
But calm the frank down, people...a lot of their stuff is pure crap. |

Mayall yes, he was barely in the Yardbirds for a cup of coffee and hated playing with them, so I'd go with NO on that one. - BiggE
Just keeping you on your toes BigE! I'm a Clapton fanatic. I agree with you. He pretty much hated Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker too, but Cream was supremely talented. Prob my favorite band of all time. Wish they had a longer shelf life. |

Yup, but those listed are my favorites.
There are probably 75-100 bands that I listen to on a regular basis from all different eras.

I can rank my personal favorite Beatles albums, but everyone will probably disagree. Anyway, here's my top 10:
1. Revolver
2. Abbey Road
3. Meet the Beatles
4. Rubber Soul
5. Sgt. Pepper
6. Help
7. The White Album
8. Hard Day's Night
9. Let It Be (the "naked" version)
10. With the Beatles - BiggE
good stuff...i definitely wouldnt have listed them this way, but trying to put them in ranking would be the hardest thing im going to do today. Revolver wouldnt be in my top 5 is the only obvious one to me.

Yep. But really, as much as I hate to admit it, I'd say Led Zepplin probably has a more solid catalog, although it's not as big as the Beatles' one.
But really, it's hard to even find an album that has no filler. I mean, an album where you don't want to skip any song because they're all great. So far, I've found 2:
Guns n Roses - Appetite for Destruction
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon

Taylor's early stuff, before she went full-on pop, is pretty good.
Yeah, I said it. |

Okay so enough about poop music.
8 of us are going to Nashville tomorrow and coming back Monday. Of course I got tickets for the game on Sunday. Anyone ever been to the Bridgestone before? How is it? |
