I honestly forgot how good he was.

Good game . They played like I hoped and thought they could with what they had . Maybe NY had a bad game compared to their others but .. odds are they played a hungrier SAbres team.

Understandable given the teams over the last handful of years, but I was trying to say how much he means to a team, not only with how good he is, but how much pressure he takes off of other players, and allowing them to play where they should, but no one listened.

I was thinking as we were well on our way to losing to the Rangers, that if we lost 3-2, that at least we could say we've played many good teams lately and that overall it hadn't been a disaster. Then that. X factor.
