Scary thought.

Eichel is only going to get better....

- ImThatGuy

Eichel has a very unique skating style. At times almost looks awkward or clumsy and then vroooom, blows by a defender. Reminds me of Jagr. Jaromir Eichel.

I agree with a lot of this. We have space, but not a ton. But it's not like we're in a super terrible position, because we're not. Toronto actually has less room than we do (they're in 15th, so I'm sure it's not a huge difference).

I didn't say we were in cap hell, someone else did. I was actually pointing out that if people think we're in cap hell, then there's some serious league-wide issues going on because we're in the top half of the league in terms of available space.

Hot take::

Eichel will finish above a ppg scoring rate the Sabres will make the playoffs and he will be a finalist for MVP...

At least that's my hope!

Hope, pass it along.

I think it reminds me more of Lemieux than Jagr. Mario never looked absurdly fast because of his strides but he often skated by people.

Eichel is on pace for 120 points almost. No big deal

Nash scored, you know the guy we didn't need.

So, if we are close to being a playoff team, do we become buyers at the deadline? Or, preferably for me, become sellers and stay the course? I don't want to hurt our future and continued growth just because everyone is jonesing to get back to the playoffs and I think it would be ideal to unload some of our UFAs or older guys with only a year left to ensure we are not only good, but great for many years.

He'll have a better career on Hayes wing than he would have on Eichels

Marty Biron talking about the Sabres being in the King's head. I knew I wasn't crazy. 3 more goals he wished he could have back last night.

I think if Murray thinks his D is fine when healthy, you make a move for an impact winger now before the trade freeze, not at the deadline

I did.

I was definitely a bit disappointed. I was looking forward to it!

Guess you'll just have to have everyone over for a birthday celebration in January instead.

Lemieux is for sure someone Eichel's skating has been compared to. They don't really glide over the ice, but instead push through it. It's a long powerful stride. Makes them look like they're not really moving that fast. Very, very deceptive. Completely different skating style than someone like McDavid.

Stay the course for now. As awesome as last night was, let's keep in perspective that we got another center ice goal, and the GW goal was an intended pass off a skate.

Eichel wont score 60, and we still need help on D.

Last thing we should do is add a rental. If it's a young core player, that's different
