If it was 100 years ago. Relating to a lumberjack, as nostalgic as it is for some, doesn't reflect the modern make up of the area. Makes a good side patch though. |

True Wedgie story: when I was in kindergarten, I would draw all the NHL logos.
Now keep in mind, I am really franking old.
So imagine trying to draw the Oakland Seals logo, or even worse theKC Scouts logo.
I couldn't do it then, and I couldn't do it now.
It's why I still don't like the blackhawks logo (yes, I realize I am the only one).
To me, a logo should be...iconic.
Very simple, yet convey the message.
The best of all time? Hartford Whalers.
Love the Canucks (rink logo).
Begrudgingly like the Flyers, Canadiens, Blues.
Like the Sabres, although could maybe be simplified (franking love the colour scheme).
And the Leafs' logo?
Lame.
