No, this was manipulated. It's really obvious.

Let's just ask Betmanhatesus what he think is going on here?

Love the childish drama
Anywho, was a real good game to watch.
Been preaching about WD lack of in game management but a little line shuffling went on. Would still like to see Sutter taken off that line, was producing but the sedins are back to doing it themselves.
Edler > Larsen. Enough said.
Oh and Utica won again.
Need to get a few wins strung together.
Except for the first and last place teams in the western conference, every team has picked up at least a point in the past game.

That was a great game. I wish they could have played another period, too bad it had to end with a lameout.

OK, just before I go... I do have an actual question.....

I have a pretty serious home theatre system in my family room and noticed something very odd tonight. My rear speakers only project the crowd noise... ok.... you need to understand that.... it may bleed through the other speakers but the two rear ones are primarily crowd noise.

I noticed that everytime the "Go Leafs Go" chant started, the volume on those speakers increased. Normally these speakers are the lowest in volume as it is only atmosphere.

I had a few friends over tonight to watch the game and it was also PVR'd so we were able to go back and the volume increase was quite obvious.

I only mention this because so many Leaf Trolls like to think that their fan base is very strong in other cities but I think I have come across the CBC taking artistic license with their sound mixing.

Anyone else PVR the game and have a 5.1 or 7.1 speaker system? Check it out. It's eerie.

You don't win many hockey games playing poor defensively like that, both teams, but it is entertaining and fun to watch! I wouldn't be planning any parades just yet

Very few Leafs fans expect anything more than a bottom 10 finish this season.

I still get pissed when people say we are so far behind teams like Calgary Leafs Sabres Avs .

Oilers seem to finally be getting it right but we match up good against them also.

We are ahead of Sabres and Avs and are only one point behind Leafs and two points behind Flames .

This is without Edler Tanev Hansen and Rodin(who is a question mark)

I know....just having a bit of fun. I like where you sit with the youth, but there's a ways to go yet.

In terms of youth IN the NHL we are behind them, however, that could change in a hurry if the Canucks management draft well and keep putting young players into their lineup like those teams you've mentioned have.

It's been a fun year actually.. Defence is terrible. Hunwick and Polak should not be in the line up but Babcock keeps throwing them out there.. together

I think that is a bit overblown also.

Monahan Gudreau Brodie Hamilton

Mathews Nylander Marmer Reilly

Horvat Stecher Tryamkin.

We don't have the flashy names but Bo is becoming a very consistent team leader who is starting to get noticed league wide.

Tryamkin a big sturdy giant who moves well ,passes well , tough, and smart.

Stecher , with still under twenty games played is becoming the teams PMD . Very smart player learning the game.

Three very good building blocks .

Too late, parade's already planned, Leiweke did that on the back of a napkin. Yeah, the coaches probably didn't like some of that game but it was fun. I'm glad after all the hype it turned into a back-and-forth speed game rather than a goon fest.

Not trying to demean our young guys, I like them, however, those other teams have more and better talent in terms of youth. That doesn't mean we won't get there in the next couple of years, we will, but as it stands they're further along than the Canucks are IMO.

When Linden gets over his man-crush on the Sedins we'll see a real injection of youth and then we'll have finally turned the corner.

I understand . If you look at a piece of paper you would take Monahan over Bo , but who is having the better year? I would build a team around Bo because I do think he is becoming a Bergeron type player. He does everything. He is taking over the leadership.

Stecher and Tryamkin are still babies when it comes to experience but boy do I like what I see.
