I guess we have Miller to thank for that then... He had a hell of a game last night |

Kassian. - Scooby_Doo
Unfortunately I think Kassian and Virtanen are one in the same, neither thinks the game at a high level, just my intuition....what a waste of a pick but the team will undoubtedly survive. |

Trading for Kane makes zero sense, period.
There are better producing guys on less risky contracts who come without the off-ice baggage. - lumlums
Who would you go after instead ? |

I dunno, it really depends on what you're looking to do. At this point, there should be focus on trying to take advantage of teams who stand to lose players to the expansion draft, so teams like Pitts, Tampa, Anaheim, Dallas, Florida, CBJ and the Isles. D will be the easiest to pick off given that you can protect 3D/7F (or 4D/4F, but few will do that). |

Not everyone agrees, but c'est la vie... nobody is ever going to get universal acceptance |

I'm unsure about Linden... at the minute I view him as being overly sentimental, particularly as there are guys that he played with (i.e. the Sedins). If he can separate business from the feels then he has a chance to do well, he's a smart enough guy anyway from all that I've seen. |

Yup! That's why when some folks decide to go for blood, it's just water off a Limey (frank)'s duck's back |

Good point
Some teams are going to get nice pieces from teams in trouble ...might as well take advantage |

Exactly... I have a gut feeling that the season will be tame for trades as teams jockey back and forth, and then the trade deadline will be a mass of action as teams try and get their poop in order... |

Or he could be the next Cam Neely. |

I never seen so much writing in place of the word "hunch" before. Sorry, I couldn't help but ruin a good story is all.
I respect your opinion on what kind of person FA is. I never met him. Try and keep in mind I challenged this promise you claimed of. I really don't see where this breakdown of his personality backs up your claim about promises made by JB????? I still see a set of fabricated circumstances. The guys a douche, I get it. - boonerbuck
My best friend does business with him. Says he's a (frank)ing bumhole. Both in real estate sort of. |

He's got at least 2 more years to show he is worth even a middle 6 player in my book. |

Virtanen is a much better skater and isn't a coke addict. Unfair comparison |

He is still really young. I am not expecting Laine. |
