yeah I was being sarcastic - things are gonna look very different in 2 years. In all honesty, I can understand his loyalty to the Sedins, Edler (kinda) Hanson, and Burrows has been showing that he's got a little gas left in the tank. I mean you have to have some vet presence on a team, otherwise you look like the Oilers of the last 10 years. Loyalty to vets will garner respect around the league and attract players in the future. Even tho the ship is sinking now, I think JB is playing the long game. The younger core pieces are beginning to line up, we definitely need more tho (thru the draft) and once those vets contracts expire that frees up $$ for mid-age players/vets to build around. Its not all doom and gloom.

tough to say. he got us a win away. he has said that ownership got involved in multiple deals. perhaps working for a team with a different ownership group we might see what hes really like. i think FA is the reason why we havent seen the rebuild in vancouver.
