Its a dirty hit if its on mcdavid or Mathews, aaron romes hit on Horton wasn't dirty but the media made it out to be - Bettmanhatesus
It was clean within the CBA and I don't thinkit would matter who it was that got hit here. I just still think it was unnecessary. Hall fully committed to the hit before Larsen had the puck. Had that puck gone passed Larsen w/o him touching it, the result would be the same, except Hall would be getting suspended right now. |

Oh I get that, but if they're interested in winning a Cup, rather than just entertaining you, the best option is to rebuild through the draft. - LeftCoaster
I thought you had to win hockey games to win the cup. Now I find out all you need are draft picks to win the cup? |

A little birdie tells me the Canucks have a 6 year 32.5M contract extension agreement in place with Guddy's agent which won't (can't) be announced until the first week in 2017.
So my question is what happens first? Guddy scores a goal or the 6 year extension is bought out?

I hope not, he needs to really tear it up down there before he's called up. |

Isn't that what he said with trading marky ? |

Leave him there till late in the year or the whole year unless he deserves it, travis green will be good for him. |

Yes that's what he said but I see them not wanting to get rid of Markstrom. Either way, trade one of them. |

That all depends if you think Guddy is a top 4 core D for a rebuilding Canuck team? Or even 4/5 for future contending Canuck team. If so, that sounds like the right amount in the NHL market. I don't think you can sign Guddy for much less unless you are looking for a bridge deal. |

I think you have to look at it as who do you want mentoring demko ...I think there's 3 choices :
Miller
Markstrom
Acquire someone else
If I'm a canuck fan I like Miller over the other two choices
You probably get an asset for one of the goalies you don't keep

Demko will be in the AHL again next year, so your point is irrelevant. |

Thanks.
It's been 26 games into season 30 or so from deadline. As a fan I want to see my team compete even if they are sh***y. Way to early to sell unless price is right.
Benning had stated he won't be trading picks as he has filled enough holes on roster to be competitive. He also stated that he will be trading diminishing when time is right.
All this was stated back in the off-season, so I am sure he will make some moves if and when he can depending on the standings etc. |

That is not a good contract for Guddy. I would sign him to another 1 yr deal to see what you have. I do think that there is an adjustment period but signing him to 6yrs 5.4mil after what he has brought so far is a mistake, not worth it. Both Tanev and Edler are better options and they are signed for less. |

Maybe he's starting that up? Just saying given the lack of scoring with need to win and injury issue. JB would have to have WD on board for deployment. Notice younger Labate hasn't been in line up over older Megna or Skille. |

Since you're not that bright, apparently, I was being sarcastic, your post was childish and stupid.
Who said they had to make a move next week? |

He's scored two goals in 12 games, I don't think he's "heating up" |

Guddy is years younger the Edler and Tanev. Not same comparison for long term. As for NHL years played there is a base there to know what you got in Guddy. Why they made the trade. His recent play just doesn't raise price but it may be wishful thinking on lowering it. |

Last couple games got the 2. As opposed to the adjustment period games. I don't think he will get the call up though. Not for a while. Not even if he scores a goal a game. It will be his physical factor that determines it. |
