So if you are not a kid anymore and you are used to the blue now; so, what kind of answer is that for game day
If you're in the PNW now might as well join Redmile and go back to the red and white. HB Flame's thread needs you. - Nuck4U
So for game day it depends on my team, and the sport. Whatever is appropriate.
I also wasn't under the impression that HB had a flames community... |

Black is a shade, not a colour. In order to be a specific colour, it needs a particular wavelength of light - neither black nor white have that - lumlums

Only game day we are talking about are Canucks v Flames.
By your Flames assertion does your avid presence here say the same about lack of a Leaf HB community |

Game day (Dec 23rd) is also the day of the Canada world juniors warm up game - hence the red and white.
And while there is a good Leafs HB community, it's also close to 2am out there - not exactly prime time for folks being awake. |

True. There are good people here, and I've been coming on by at times over the past couple of years.
Having spoken with Makita and agreeing to put the past where it belongs, I assume that we can co-exist here without much fuss? |

All joking aside what you guys think for the quarter pole of the season for the Flamers, Laffs or Nuckerheads? A WC showing or ticket to the draft lotto? |

I think pretty much where expected - Flames may sneak in (though they have played more than most right now, so take their WC spot with a grain of salt) , but I expect Leafs and Nucks to be in the lotto (though not top few spaces)... |

the tl;dr version is that Pat was physically abused by his father as a kid - Burr used this against him and would chirp that he was going to "smack him around just like his father did" whenever they played... - lumlums
I recall that story yes. that sure explains alot
So why does he have to drag it all out again and re open those wounds. Just keeps it going |

In his book he mentions that he's spent a lot of time in therapy to deal with it, but mainly wants to do this to raise awareness due to the fact that there may be more kids out there going through what he did. |
