Quality of draft? If they keep doing well, you might be right. Would be great news for us. |

We should trade it, apparently, as the chances of finding a gem are so slim it's much better to get rid of it for a player someone has already given up on |

I hope they don't, but I've been pretty happy with Bae and Granlund. You not a fan of them? |

What are you, a sportsnet broadcaster? guy coaches a bottom 5 team. Tortarella is coaching a bottom 5 team too... only they're top 5 right now |

Valid point, but, Eriksson is a quick fix IMO. That money could've been used to acquire a contract and gain a draft pick or an asset, or both. That's just the way I'd approach it. - LeftCoaster
True, I purposely left our UFAs as they only cost cap space. I have no issues with UFA signings unless they are for a term that will hurt the team when we are competitive again. I attend most games and I want to be (frank)ing entertained. That said, I understand folks that don't want UFAs |

The continual mixed messages are frustrating and open them up to fair criticism. Such as the recent, "we may sign Miller next year" message from Linden. - LeftCoaster
Who cares Lefty? Who (frank)ing cares. If Linden signs Miller it's 100% for short term to mentor Demko. Perhaps we then trade Markstrom for an asset. Certainly not anything to worry about. The team should keep ALL options open |

Perhaps
Benning needs five years of drafting to judge his plan, I just wish he'd draft more and stop with the competitive push because it's costing picks and assets. - LeftCoaster
Lefty...he is trying to keep his job...a full tear down is not an option. At least they are keeping their top prospects / 1st round picks |

Glad to hear that Larsen is going to be OK (as OK as you can be given that he has a concussion). I thought he was dead literally. |

Oh I get that, but if they're interested in winning a Cup, rather than just entertaining you, the best option is to rebuild through the draft. |

Its a dirty hit if its on mcdavid or Mathews, aaron romes hit on Horton wasn't dirty but the media made it out to be |

I think we all know FA's answer to that. Does anyone know how the profit sharing works for owners in this league? is it split evenly between all owners, or do profits go based off of team value? |
