PG is playoff bound perhaps even memorial cup. Cant see him getting any rochester time. - Sabresfan-365
I am not sure how the games at the end of the season count should they get bounced early. If they don't count he is in Blue and Gold, if they do count he is in Red White and Blue, unless the Sabres are in the thick of a tight playoff race

I really don't like Jack on the PK. He's relied on to be out there 20+ minutes a night and the one to make something happen late in the game when we're down. The last thing we need is him out there on exhausting PKs and getting in the way of shots. How many times do you see players on the PK getting in front of opposition players who are about to T-off a slapshot, that shot then hits them in the leg or ankle and they go down. PK is a D-Lo, Grant, Larsson, Girgs possession... Eichel should be on the bench. - sskkoo1
I've always been a fan of a team that has enough skill in his bottom 6 to kill penalties. For one, you're using guys who play less minutes.
The other reason is that if they successfully kill the penalty, you roll your scorers out against the oppositions 3rd or 4th line, because their scorers were just out there trying to score.
This is where guys like Kaleta come in handy. Doesnt actually have to be Kaleta, but if someone is going to block a shot with their face, I prefer it NOT be ROR or Eichel.
my first reaction to this post was that it should lead to a ban of some sort...then I thought about it and hate to admit you're kinda correct. - LandlordTom
Oh god he's right. He's just good enough you can't hate him. But he isn't fiercely competitive enough to love him.

Wierd though. Pomenville was kinda an AHL/NHL tweener who got waived and ended up being our Captian.
Sam is a 2nd overall with high expectations.
And frankly, if Sam basically becomes what Pommenville was in his prime, im fine with it. I always expected him to be a solid "supporting cast member' if that makes sense.
Never had star expectations.

F that. We fielded the worst team since 1935 to get a guy who = a second round pic. Dude better be real good.

But as a native of Buffalo, I await disappointment.
Of course, my point is, Pommenville was an "overachiever" based on his draft position and many may view Reinhart as an underachiever based on his draft position.
But again, Pommenvilles production in his prime was nothing to turn your nose up at.
What is the reason we haven't put any of the injured (ennis,McCormik) on LTIR?
Is it because we are not if cap trouble ? - cabin
Because LTIR doesn't actually create space, it just allows you to go over the amount of the player's cap hit, sort of. If you have a player that makes $6M and you have $1M in space you're allowed to go over the cap by $5M. You're only allowed to replace his salary.

Figured since we are not in danger , and LTIR has protocol on mandatory time off. And if a player (Gorges) heals up sooner than expected . he can come back.

Thats how I see him. Without the popular star tag.
