They're good bets, but can the Habs really afford to give up on one of them, given how veteran heavy the team is?

They would need to get something good coming back. Not sure it is worth it to get an average centre man who might walk at the end of the year. It's not like they can't wait to see what will happen with that line-up with the start they had.

Yeah, as long as Carey is healthy you're in every game regardless of the roster in front of him.

Best to be patient and use the time you have.
