They both are there for a reason. It's just sad though. Moulson was doing good on the 1st line for a bit there. It's just sad to see them fall that far.
Girgs reminds me of a novelty act at this point. Kinda like seeing Styx at the county fair.
Moulson seems to be just a PP Specialist and contributes nothing unless put with O'Reilly or Eichel.
Just expected more from Moulson and Girgs than being 4th liners is all...

Take it easy on Styx, they didn't hurt Eichel the day before the season started

They can have him at this point
edit: link stupid long - chilliard77
He would have already been gone but I don't know if it was for any of the players that Homie mentioned. Ennis got hurt 2 times now that has inconvenienced us.

Cal Clutterbuck's new five-year deal with the New York Islanders is worth $17.5 million.
That $3.5 million cap hit seems like quite a bit for a 29-year-old forward that typically serves in the third or fourth line and usually records between 10-20 points per season. That being said, Clutterbuck has played beyond that description so far this season, averaging 15:26 minutes per game and recording nine points in 25 games. He's also stayed physical with 89 hits. This still seems like a lot of money to throw at him though, given that he might end up seeing his role decline again (it was just last season he was averaging 11:55 minutes) and he might also regress as the contract goes on.
