Garropollo would more than likely cost a fortune - 22sabresQ
I would pay whatever it cost and he can bring McDaniel with him. Would never happen. Pats never do it with a team in the division. |

Rex ain't getting fired.
Not that he shouldn't, but he has the perfect excuse with all the injuries.
I've been preaching that the team should go into tank mode for a couple years...trade everyone who has value and start over!
Darby...gone
Happy ... don't resign, gone
Darius ... gone
Kyle ... do him a favor and trade him to a contender
Clay ... gone
shady ... gone
Watkins ...gone
woods ... gone, don't resign

Is it just me or did it look like the D quit on plays today? I am not talking about the 4th quarter either. In the first half, it looked like players were half-assing it on tackles and just going through the motions. |

Done, not worth the money. But we'll grab some rookie and then everything will freak out cause he's not Dak. |

Ain't that the truth. Dak wouldn't be Dak without that line. I fear too many people are going to be make him the norm and not the exception that he is. |

Tony homo will crck ribs sneezing. Will people stop with tony romo talk. The bills and sabres have inferior people throughout there front office. You can not win in the nfl without a quarterback then can call his own plays or has qthe ability to call audibles. Wht cant anyone understand this. A coach can not call plays from the sideline and the offense runs the play 100% of the time. I played quarterback,it will never work. You could call amplay against a cober two and they could be in man. Did anyone watch ben today, he audibled out of the play 40-% of the time. He is smarter then all the defensive players out there and there 50 iq. Then you add the bumbling ryans and whaley this organization stinks - Buffalo39
Not many quarterbacks can read a defense now a days at the line of scrimmage,
make the correct play call and execute. Especially the ones coming out of college.
I'm not defending Tyrod at all, I think he should be gone after the year, but the PLAYS are there he's just not seeing the open receivers.
His lack of going through his progressions is the problem not him not being able to audible. |

Another great example, look what that guy walked into talent wise with the O Line, running game, and D.
Watching him at GB right now, you know what the problem is? No run game. They put up a stat that showed Seattle has 3 games this year with under ten points.
Wilson is being counted on to be 'the' guy and it's tough. GB is eating him alive.
There are few elite QB's in the league, to be honest, I'm not entirely sold on Wilson yet as elite. |

Same thing I said. He came in and was very protected. I want a vet and then start drafting rookie qbs every year, at least in the 3rd round. Best way for us to go about it imo. |

As a Giants fan, I talked the same way in 2004. Had someone tell me when the guy is there (QB) you get him. If there is one in front of you take him. More often than not the best QB's are drafted in the first round. True, there are a lot of busts, but if you don't try you don't get top end talent.
That being said, teams reach WAY too often for QB's. I can't remember the year, but remember the draft with Ponder, Gabbert, and Locker? That was terrible. If the QB isn't there, your plan is the best, but if your QB is there, go get him. |

Romo wouldn't last 1 quarter with this line. - SABRES 89
Fixed...
Here is the deal, Sexy Rexy destroyed the D, I hate to say it because players love playing for him but he screwed the D up.
Not having Kyle Williams really showed who owns that D-line, it's not Dareus.
The o-line is an absolute disaster. We can talk about getting a QB all you want (they need to find one) but no matter who is behind center, they will look like crap behind this line.
Here's to another 8-8 season everyone! |

Tannehill, Jamarcus Russel, etc
Derek Carr wasn't selected in the 1st round. So called "football guys" were scared because of what his brother was in the NFL. After his first season they were claiming they were right and the Raiders reached for him. Now he is going to win the MVP.
You just have to start taking one every year until you hit on one.
This team has some talent, but the good teams win up front and the O-Line is garbage and the D-Line got manhandled today... |

I agree on keeping Nilsson if he continues to play well. But, if we are at the bottom of the league around the deadline, I don't see why Gionta wouldn't want to be moved to a playoff team for one last shot.
We have too many holes still in this lineup not to continue building via draft. McCabe is real good and getting better, but top pairing may truly be pushing his ability. We have no more assets to pay in trades without creating even more holes in the roster, and the UFA market is doubtful at best.
If Nylander does pan out, than yes, I'll agree that finding a plug-and-play #6 is a viable option. - sskkoo1
