Klefbom'S abit of a noticeable mess defensively lately.

No hockey IQ, muffin shots, poor skating, and no rush ability.

I believe he actually thinks the game rather well. defensively anyway.
Very Adept at clever outs, knows when the easy play is best and is solid on reads.
certainly not perfect though.
AMD while His gait isn't fluid, it doesn't hamper his ability to get to loose pucks so it doesn't make him ineffective really at all. Defencemen of his ilk don't really need to be dynamic skaters.
But yeah- he's not very good offensively and on pure value with no context, hall is worth a lot more.
Good?
While klefbom should unequivocally be our best blue liner, over the last couple weeks, klefbom has been a bigger liability defensively than larsson without a doubt imo. |

While I'm mostly just busting your balls and I realize you are not one of the homers that refuses to admit the trade was awful....I have to point out that I think you're wrong.
If hes adept at defense and clever outs then why is he last on the team in controlled exits? And leads in dump outs? And almost never skates a puck out? As his goals against per 60 has skyrocketed this year and is awful?
I think he is vastly over rated by many. Hes not getting the criticism he deserves because that would mean people would have to admit they were wrong about Larrson and Chia. |
