While I'm mostly just busting your balls and I realize you are not one of the homers that refuses to admit the trade was awful....I have to point out that I think you're wrong.

If hes adept at defense and clever outs then why is he last on the team in controlled exits? And leads in dump outs? And almost never skates a puck out? As his goals against per 60 has skyrocketed this year and is awful?

I think he is vastly over rated by many. Hes not getting the criticism he deserves because that would mean people would have to admit they were wrong about Larrson and Chia.

I feel that can be largely attributed to an early season adjustment period to what is a much higher event team and his partner's struggles. What really makes me believe this is how much New Jersey has been struggling defensively when compared to last year. Though I'm sure you'll disagree, I've seen Larsson as our 2nd best Dman over the year behind only Sekera so I can't really say I'm disappointed considering the circumstances. Far from perfect, but a vast and much-needed improvement.

This brings me to another point. There's a disturbing trend continuing among all Oilers D that I've seen dating back to last year that I'm not willing to strictly attribute to Larsson. This trend is defaulting to the rim around the boards to your D partner (or beyond). As it wasn't an issue early on this season, it's got me thinking that this is a coaching problem and that they're being coached to rim around and rip it off the glass and out. Is it to just calm the waters defensively to avoid high danger chances in the now in hopes of avoiding any after giving up possession? I understand when Gryba does it but when Sekera, Larsson and Klefbom (proven effective puck movers) start doing it I start to worry.

Klefbom'S abit of a noticeable mess defensively lately.
A lot of poor decisions, abit soft on the puck and really straiggling against the rush

It's been pretty apparent for like 3-5 games now.

Concerning

Yup, agreed. He's gotta work out some things in regards to simple defending. Excluding one play where Wheeler imposed his will early in the game, I think he had a solid rebound effort last night, though. Hopefully he can build off his mistakes and continue his recent uptick in production. At least that offense has helped offset at least a few of his mistakes.

Klef had a couple rough games. No doubt. But Sekera also had a bunch earlier. As has Russell and Larsson. They've all gone through bad periods. Klef is still the best all around Dman and Sekera second. Larrson is 4th imo.

I just got back from spending too much money at the pub in celebration with my program mates. I've gotta do something to avoid spending money. But if you insist, I'm just about to fire up the Witcher 3 and play for most of the remainder of the night

Sounds like great fun! Due to my lack of funds, I'm taking a bit more chill of a holiday and just chilling at the dorms until the 22nd at which point I'll head home to see my family for a few days. Then back here to prep for one hell of a New Years

Until Klefbom gets his defensive game in order again, I can't call him our best overall. I really hope you're not setting Russell ahead of Larsson.

Fuk he's good hey!?

Turning into a dominant player. And he's barely 21.

If nurse and Davidson can continue their previous play, I think chia will stand pat. Maybe a free agent ANd let Russel walk

If he gets desperate, I could see one of nuge/ebs and a first maybe.

No chance Leon goes anywhere

He's got such a refined and nuanced skillset that's very Backstrom-esque with more active use of his shooting on the PP. His 1-on-1 skills have seen notable improvement this season, as well. As much as I love watching McDavid, Leon might soon usurp him as my favourite player to watch!

So get a load of this one...

One of my old college buddies from Ontario is a huge Peanuts fan... So I ordered a Peanuts shirt for him on Amazon from a company in China. I was going to add that to a box full of foods he liked when he was going to school in NL that he can't get in Ontario.

Anyway, I pay $20 for the shirt, and an additional $12.98 to ensure that it gets here by the 5th of December. It's the 8th of December, and I don't mind it being a few days late, but decide to check the tracking... It's still in China and it was shipped using standard shipping.

I contact the company, and say why wasn't it shipped express like I paid for? They say I didn't pay for express shipping... I provide them with a copy of my order where it clearly says "express shipping." I ask for a refund of $12.98, but they get defensive and rude... Basically say no chance, and refuse to accept that I paid for express, even though it says it on the invoice/order details. I contact Amazon and file a complaint... The sellers get back to me within 2 hours, telling me that they'll refund the cost and for me to please please cancel Amazon's A to Z claim against them... Hmmmmmmm

(frank)ers.

Anyone here ever file a claim before? This is my first time... Have you ever cancelled a claim in a situation like this? I honestly don't trust the sellers now...

They're nuts... I even circled the area on my order details where it said I paid for express shipping...

Have you ever ran into this issue? I must have ordered 70 or 80 things on Amazon, and have never had a problem before... I'm wondering how long I'd have to cancel the A to Z claim anyway... Even though I don't think I should.

I guess I should read up on this sh1t tomorrow
