Dr. Sluttager will head to Calgary this week to do some Xmas shopping at the Lego store, but I will make sure to head to where Jenny Hockey buys her clothes, Banana Republic or more likely Gap Kids, slap her in the wrist with a coat hanger and BAAAAAAM. Thats fair...but its still been 4.5 seasons since you dismantled and started to 'officially' rebuild, but lets put things into perspective here.

After the cancelled season you got bounced in the first round 4 straight seasons , then missed 5 times in a row , had a Cinderella season, then missed again, horribly.

The problems with the Oil started before we made it to the finals. The fact we had absolutely nobody worth (frank) all in tne system and a bunch of poopty first rounders..

Not sure how the Oilers were gonna be a playoff team in 2012 with Hall, Eberle and RNH ( and that bust Yak) being our only good players. But Im sure if you were GM you would have pulled off miraculous trade after miraculous trade and convinced all the best free agents to sign here for pennies on the dollar.
