I think going forward Matthews will be the more versatile franchise cornerstone type .
While laine will be the offensive force pure snipe type.

Not really fair to either- but a reasonable comparison would be sids game in relation to ovies

Ovies a lethal shooter and probably more "dynamic", but sid is unquestionably the better player

I totally agree just dont think Matthews is going to be half as good as Crosby. Agree though Centre is the position to pick. If the draft was tomorrow id pick Laine. Time will tell if wrong though. I kinda contradict myself but that is my guess. Normally would take a centre, though Nuge hasnt worked out so well. Mc David on the other hand
