Auston Matthews sounds like a gay porn star who couldn't spell Austin. Six-shooter is his specialty. |

Was just looking at a 2017 mock draft, it has us drafting some guy named: Grant Mismash in the 2nd round.
Great name. |

I think Don and Booner decided that they had better things to do than respond.
Edit: I'm assuming this because I haven't received a four page PM from Booner telling me why I'm an ass hole. |

Via sportsnet, re the 2018 draft.
It’s going to be interesting to see who the cuts for Sweden are at the WJC specifically on the blueline where it appears that 16-year-old phenom, and projected first-overall pick in 2018, Rasmus Dahlin may just make the team.

Those bouts of silence are becoming more and more frequent lol.
Oh well, only 53 games left to go until the real excitement begins (draft day) |

I'd be fine if we took another high end D this year too.
Unless we get 1st overall (but somehow Arizona seems determined to earn that one).
Forwards are easier to develop, i would love to have a team with really solid D that opened up that space in the offensive zone. - dbot
With the lotto all bets are off. What comes up is a matter of spin come time to pick. |

The draft is it for me. That's all I'm interested in now. Not just this year's but the next two after that. It's going to set the tone for years to come.
I hope the pom-pom wavers don't disappear totally. You always need a foil to reality. |

not sure i follow...just saying that it would be cool if the Canucks built a team with some high end D's that could spread out the opposition by having a legit threat from the blueline.
it's been discussed here before, we've never really had a true stud on the backend, it would be nice. |

You'll always be able to find some in the off-season. September is also a good time, as is a win on opening night. |

Jovo and Ohlund were about as good as we've had for 1,2. That's pretty damn good though. |
