Ya I'm pretty much at that point. Classy guys and all but it's getting to be that time.
I find it interesting where we will be at Jan 1 in the standings…lots of big decisions coming I would bet. - LordHumungous
Yeah FA has to make a big decision, hopefully empty seats will force that decision before the end of the season.

Don't say that too loud. Some will be real mad at you. I would wait till next year, draft 2018 looks stacked. - manvanfan
The 2017 draft doesn't suck and we will still be bad in 2018 |

Are they really the cause of everything on this team? Pretty simple the coach can just play them less. - manvanfan
Not at all but you have to admit the team still lives and dies a lot with the twins. Sure Willie can cut their TOI but to what end? They still lead the team in scoring almost every year and if we keep relying on guys in their mid 30s to carry this club we are in trouble. We need a mentality shift. A different captain and a change to the country club that many players so desire here. Until Horvat has that C it's just going to be more of the same for the next few seasons which is fine for the people who want top 5 picks…not so much for the people who want playoffs. |

Who do you want managment to trade? Our vets are terrible and they have NTCs. Our roster is getting younger and we have some exciting prospects on the way. No team dresses an entire roster of players under 25 - CanuckDon
Loui would be a good start. The twins are logistically impossible to trade as a pair. If they would split it would accelerate things mightily. |

Late in the night, he finally regained consciousness. He was in the hospital, in terrible pain. He found himself in the ICU with tubes in his nose, needles and IV drips in both arms, a breathing mask, wires monitoring every function, and a nurse hovering over him.
He realized that he was obviously in a life-threatening situation. The nurse gave him a serious, deep look, straight into his eyes, then spoke to him slowly and clearly, enunciating each word and syllable, "You may not feel anything from the waist down."
Somehow he managed to mumble a reply, "Can I feel your tits then?".....and that, my friend, is A POSITIVE ATTITUDE!

Only one way to find out.
All decisions are made around the Twins. We should be called the Vancouver Sedins. - VANTEL
I've said this before, and I'll say it again, I love what those guys have meant to the franchise and the city, but I'll be glad when they're gone so the franchise can move forward and quit hanging on. |

With Landeskog Barrie Jost Duchesne possibly available in the next month or two we should be looking at one or two of this players. Doubt the Avs would look at Loui but they might bite on Hansen Tanev or even JV. Our current package of Sbisa-Gaunce-pick will get us nothing. |

Absolutely, right from the owner on down the organization bases every decision to hang onto every last chance they have to try and make the playoffs for these guys. |

After Naslund and now this, swedes should say no to Van. Not even including the Sundin abortion.
They really do need to move on and suck it up. They are adults after all, they will be ok playing on different teams. |

It's not about them, they just play, it's about management and their dumb comments and decisions. Much like Iginla, the Sedins have been the best players the franchise has ever seen, however, all good things must end. |

I don't think anyone actually wants van to make the playoffs. I think a few believe they could slip in.
It does come down to the coach to decide who is going to play and who isn't. |

But are they ok moving on with seperate paths? The franchise wont move on until they are or they retire.letting iginla leave was huuuuge for the franchise. |

From everything I've read. Sounds as if there are 3 players who have possibilty of being top line players. Everyone else is a 2nd liner at best. Not something you really want from 4-10 |

Of course they wouldn't at his point in their careers, they've got one year left, they can be moved together if the Canucks ate salary. It's not as hard as it's made out to be.
My point was management needs to ask them to move, why would they asked to be moved to help the franchise? |

every draft produces top line players...do you actually believe that there will only be 3 first line players produced from the 2017 draft? These are 17 year old kids and some develop at a slower pace |
