Wonder if one of the PP units can use Tree as post up to go to the front of the net? Just direct pucks through from half wall or blue line whatever isn't being blocked. Can't be any worse then what we are seeing, can it? - Nuck4U
I'd be willing to endure 4th line on PP at least they work hard |

3 games in 4 nights and a matinee to finish it off? Are you serious? That's a (frank) up with schedule - CanuckDon
Yes I'm serious.
Are you saying that 3 games in 4 nights are such an anomaly that there is no way a NHL team could prepare for or even cope with that type of punishment?
Come on. Welcome to the big leagues.

Marky has played like a #1 today. Couldn't steal this game as PP has been dead. OV fooled him on threading one by him. Second goal. Canucks got caught puck watching. They seem to be tiring out. All those early PKs plus playing from behind in this short turnourand travel not helping. |

Hard to have puck control without the puck. - LeftCoaster
They don't have the puck because they keep losing it, or more accurately, giving it away.
I don't understand how the Dump and Chase scheme works without the Chase part.
Coach gotta work on that.

It's the seasons like this where I wish we didn't have the pretty good goaltending to mask all the other deficiencies the team has. |

At least they are trying? WTF is that?
If they are not rested I’m blaming the sleep coach. Fire his ass.
Come to think of it, you would make a good sleep motivator.

This back to back is a little different than the spin you spun. A flight, a 3am bed time and then be prepared for a 2pm game is a little tight compared to the typical 3 in 4 you are pretending this is.

I stopped paying attention in the 2nd. It was brutally boring... the game is just background noise as I talk with people online... |

Well most were predicting a blow out. Canucks kept it a one goal game and couldn't get the PP to work. So they were good enough to compete but not to win. The missing ingredient being the well known lack of scoring.
Maybe Baer may get going after sitting out. JV is heating up and Rodin may draw in soon to be extra factors soon. Like Skille has shown recently you need as many options as possible to get goals in this league. |

Try googling a flight to DC instead of Washington state. I've flown to Orlando in under 3 hours from Toronto. I'm thinking DC to Miami is 2 1/2 hours. It's a charter, not like they have to be there for tickets and and hour early bs. |
