Yup, a lot of similarities to when Gillis took over the Canucks, established core but needed better supporting players. - LeftCoaster
They had done the biggest moves of Bonino and Kessel in the summer before Sullivan took over. Just added the supporting players as you said, Schultz, Daley, and Hagelin. Kind of shows that the right coach can make or break a team. |

I have been here nearly daily for the past few years, I have yet to see him prove any of his points. Its always "you just cant see it", "you just dont get it", or "I am not going to repeat my points", but then he also says hes too busy to watch every game, he just knows. His arrogance is astounding - WhiteLie
Yes it is.

I'm glad your in such a good mood this morning. Isn't that what most people want a 1-5 pick. - manvanfan
Yes I believe you are correct, just pointing out to Darius, (he would like the canucks to stay the course and be a mediocre team), that by staying the course, with this talent and exceptionable coaching, they pick 1-5.
And I'm always in a good mood, it's hard to determine tone in a blog. |

The Ticket Sales/Empty Seats/Lack of motivation from the public to renew season tickets is the best thing for this club. It is EXACTLY what FA wanted to avoid by trying to keep this team competitive. These team will just keep slipping down the list for most profitable NHL club year after year if they continue on with this.

Quite annoying, I don't think that WD realizes he isn't Babcock and able to scratch one of your better players. WD is ruining the young players. Playing Horvat with Skille. Go (frank) yourself WD. |

Joking, but I would not be surprised as Baertschi has not played well and Benning has no issues moving on from experiments. |

Everyone can stop freaking out over Baertchi, Gaunce is a healthy scratch which is part of the plan to protect him from the expansion draft. |

who is freaking out? lol.
Baertschi, IMO, deserved to be scratched last game. I might be the minority here but at least Megna/Skille/Gaunce showed a bit of grit and hustle the last few games. Baertschi needs to get going, hopefully the benching worked. |

We are the team that every team's backup goalie circles on their calendar as game they know they will draw in on. |

Doesn't let up and clearly tries to lift up through the hit. Back to hitting a defenceless player. - manvanfan
Is the league doing anything about Emelin and trying to take out players knees? |

Doesn't sound like it because sports net said no discipline for Krug. The league is doing less and less to protect its players. |

I think thats a drop off in skill for an upgrade in hustle. I know others think highly of Duclair, but I am not a big fan, and if hes available on the lowly rebuilding Coyotes, thats more of a reason for me to avoid him |
