Doesn't sound like it because sports net said no discipline for Krug. The league is doing less and less to protect its players.
- manvanfan

yep. true story. The League preaches player safety but there is little to no consistency.

I think thats a drop off in skill for an upgrade in hustle. I know others think highly of Duclair, but I am not a big fan, and if hes available on the lowly rebuilding Coyotes, thats more of a reason for me to avoid him

No trades are needed unless it's an obvious win. Just ride the wave out and let everything fall into place.

not willing to give up draft picks or other prospects to get players that are worse.

Duclair is younger and been more productive ...had a 44 point season last year too

Linden-MNGT-Ownership and WD aren't stupid they know this is a bottom 5-10 club.

Dressing 6 AHL players night after night suggests they want the high pick.

If they were actually serious about the playoffs they would have went after Landeskog and Duchesne Jost or Barrie a month ago.

Just read the Boston blog and Ty Anderson says it's not even close a hit to the head. IF Shaw doesn't lunge for a puck. *face to palm*. If Shaw doesn't lunge at all, Krug would have missed completely. This type of hit needs to be taken out of the game, No reason why Krug can't win the race to the puck first or make an attempt and if he does, it would have been shoulder on shoulder. To cut across someone like that is clearly predatory.

Agreed. Tanev being hurt doesn't help matters. However the AV's have the pieces for sure.

You can't reason with Bruins fans, during a game if Marchard was to high stick someone, they would come up with "why did that players face get in the way of Marchards stick?"

Ya I really don't see a scenario where we can steal this game tonight. CAR is on a 6 game home win streak I think? say 4-1 CAR.

I think Van has a better team overall then Carolina but honestly who knows if they are going to show up for 1, 2, or 3 periods or at all like the other night in Washington.

But they were? or at least up until recently they were trying to find a 20 goal scorer.

The plan failed again and this team is worse than they expected, dressing 6 AHL players isn't a calculated plan, its the result of a poopty plan.

Benning must already be setting up his garage 'fire sale' list in advance this year.

I don't want to see him playing for the Canucks this season or next.

Looks like the exact same hit that Edler got 3 games for to me. I thought that was the wrong call though so I probably also think the hit on Shaw was fine.

He was on a huge hot streak in Utica. His Call up is doing nothing for him, apart from a bit of extra bump in his pay cheque. Ideally, he goes back, bachman recovers (slowly) and Demko continues to rack up the games.

I am really struggling to find the differences in the hits made this year.

Kadri Hit - 0 games
Oleksiak Hit - 2 games for being tall?
Krug Hit - 0 games

But Shaw DID lunge for the puck.
It's a contact sport, hits to the head are going to happen as are injuries.
Shaw is a notorious POS and Krug is tiny.
Who cares.

With Emelin out there chopping out knees you had to know there was some payback coming. Good for Krug.
