i'll give you that Miller has been pretty good when healthy, I think I just genuinely don't like him.
Burrows on the other hand I like but is a steaming pile of garbage whose 32 points in the last 100 games at 4.5 million makes him the one of the most overpriced bottom 6 forward in the league. He might be worth a veteran's minimum contract, I hope some team take him off our hands so we can recoup from that awful contract. - neem55
He is one hell of an intangible. Grit, experience, truculence, tenacity, .... 4.5 million will be gone by the TDL and what is left, the Canucks will eat some if it gets them a 2nd or 3rd. I think it would be a third but there may be a slight bidding war for him and quite frankly, if Montreal offered their 2nd.... it is still the 60th pick.

You would be wrong if you think he can keep up with Dorsett.
There is a reason that every team passed on him and most passed on him twice. He straight up cannot skate.
WD won't even put our leading scorer with the Sedins on the PP, you think they would put Pulkkinen there? - belcherbd
1. how the hell do you know who would win a foot race between dorsett and pulkkinen?
2. IF pulkkinen were on the roster (he's not because JB likes his 2-way forwards - and that's fine), but you're probably right WD is unlikely to play him with the sedins. All I'm saying is he is someone I'd rather have on the team than megna or shatpoo |

CHL players too but other then Tyler Johnson I can't really think of who is a stand out CHL undrafted player. - manvanfan
I get less excited about undrafted CHL players only because they dont seem to show as well, particularly against their peers. A player like Tanev's brother in Winnipeg though players against older/stronger players, so it gives me more confidence they can jump in and be NHLers.
Either way though, I hope they can leverage these contracts to acquire some assets and even get some of these guys into the lineup late in the year |

Chaput Megna may not be NHL players but they are not the reason we are losing. One shot on five PPs has more to do why we are losing.
The D are not getting blown out , but we are losing. We have been shut out 5 times in 29 games and the number of one and two goal games would be mind blowing.
15 of our 29 games have been two goals or less - VANTEL

I have been here nearly daily for the past few years, I have yet to see him prove any of his points. Its always "you just cant see it", "you just dont get it", or "I am not going to repeat my points", but then he also says hes too busy to watch every game, he just knows. His arrogance is astounding - WhiteLie
um no. I in the past posted elaborate examples, which I stated in the post. I also clearly stated I dont do it these days. Learn to read. |

there is a limit to contracts they can have, and right now they have the flexibility to take on some in a deal, why use up valuable space for marginal increase? I am hoping they are trying to remain at 45 contracts so they can take on some at the TDL and be big players when college UFA season hits - WhiteLie
Yep, I hope that's the plan, although I wouldn't hold out hope for a game breaking college UFA this year. |

I think the CHL players are picked over a lot more then other leagues. Less chance of guys slipping through.
My google search came up with Mark Giordano, Josh Gorges, Dan Girardi. A few much older guys. Tyler Johnson is the only forward.
Has diminished my hope for Michael Carcone, Asthon Saunter, Curtis Valk. Yan Pavel was technically drafted. |

They added a guy named Kunky? - VANTEL
Kunyk... ya he was signed last year to a PTO I think and was resigned in the off season but started the year in Alaska I think.
Tough guy who actually has decent hands.
Archibald came back as well and has been one of their best players. |

Because I've watched them both play hockey?
Regardless, I don't think subbing him for Megna or whoever would really change anything. |

I see Archies name on the score sheet a lot lately. JV has helped his game. Valk also . One of the productive lines |

He's too old at this point realistically to be more than a career AHLer. He Schroeder and Kassian formed a pretty impressive line back in the day and I had hopes for him but he like many other good hockey players are just not good enough for the NHL.
That said he is a fan favorite in Utica and has been a good "mentor" for the kids there. |
