Again, I dont think he's the answer. There isnt a single human on the earth that will singlehandedly fix this mess. I would simply rather have him on the team over megan and shatpoo.
im not convinced holland "gave up" on him. the timing was such that most teams had their rosters set at the beginning of the season. the red wings signed vanek and neilson and didnt have a spot for him. they tried to send him grand rapids and he was claimed. minnesota decided to pick him up and them decided that zac dalpe was a better fit for their roster. he is still a prospect and im sure he'll get another shot someday. i wouldn't mind the canucks taking a chance, much like they have with ______ (insert scrub NHLer here).

He's Dany Heatley 2.0. If you can't skate in today's NHL, you don't play in today's NHL. When the NHL got faster Heatley went from elite to invisible. They are too easy to check. It really is that simple and seems to apply to every position more and more every year. There is no improving this llineup. Chaput has played very well, excellent in the faceoff circle and plays simple. Megna I could give or take, but is pretty far from a substantial problem. Hutton isn't a top-4 d-man, sedin's are 2nd line forwards/pp specialists, the team can't score. These are bigger issues, none of which can be addressed right now, rather will be addressed by a couple of crappy seasons that lead to big drafts
