last month Murray was freaking out on wgr on how the game is changing and how the penalties are being called

almost as if he was building a big bodied club and the game is reverting back to speed and talent

see lemieux, fasching, cornel, carrier, etc

But thats what makes it such a bad deal no? All backups fit that description so Im not sure why florida had to go out and give this one a 5 year deal.

Even Dom got a half goal per game more from those teams.

That would put the Sabres around 18th in the league and not dead last.

13 more goals would have been scored. My guess is you win at least 3 more games being very conservatively.

Guess where that puts them? 9th in the conference...with 3 games in hand over the 8th place team.

Blame Lehner all you want people but he is not the problem. Scoring 2 goals a game is the problem.

I'd like to see them give him a shot on the top line, or even move reinhart to top line and insert baptiste on second line

carrier is a 3rd liner, nothing more, nothing less

except they cant play 60 minutes. This team is the anti 08-13 sabres. Back then we had a whole bunch of complimentary players but no core. Now we've got a solid core but the complimentary players blow. How is that even possible?

Bring in a guy with no nhl ties. no biases no "i used to be a grinder so unless you do it you're going on the fourth line" bs. Just a guy with a fresh perspective who just wants to win and preserve his job.
