It would do more harm than good....we'd keep the loser mentality...we'd gut the team and rush rookies and AHLers into the lineup....still not be gurenteed the #1 pick...and the players at the top of this draft are not Eichel/McDavid quality

While it's great for the jobs saved I would argue that it's an even better deal for Carrier. They still get to move most of the jobs to Mexico, without any of the consequences that were threatened, and they get a $7 million handout from Indiana. They already said they will be upgrading their factories with modern automation that will eliminate jobs anyway.
Those state handouts drive me nuts. They pick winners and losers as far as who gets tax breaks. NY does it all the time. Help everyone instead of a select few.
