I don't get why you chumps want a coaching change. Isn't rebuilding what you've been creaming your jeans about. Isn't this season (and last) exactly what you hoped would happen so they could draft high? Who cares what the talking heads say to the media, the tank is on. Why is it you think he "refuses to play and develop"? The coach plays the players he has at his disposal. The GM signs, and assigns players to NHL/AHL rosters. You think if the GM wants a player in the lineup and the coach refuses he would still be working for the club? Do you honestly believe that Crawford, or any other coach is going to make a significant difference next season? Burrows comes off the books, Miller maybe. That's about it. You think this team is going to look that different in September? Not going to happen. They are still a couple years away from needing a "playoff coach".

Whatever the pieces that will be added for next season it's about the team identity and style of play. It needs to change. New players won't do that alone. Improving impact players and depth does give a coach more options of course.
