Well my take on the season is a few simple ideas.
Force Edler to accept a trade to a contender eg Tampa
Hansen/Edler for Drouin/Fillpula
We need offensive dynamics on wing &/or PP QB.
1 single big move is a great start.
If not the above then something similar or a big TDL shuffle up. |

Yup, a new coach wont help this team, no matter who is coaching the Sedins will still get 1:30 of every PP. Hire a new coach when we have a new team. If anyone is to impatient to wait for change I suggest finding another team like Nucker. |

I would do this in a heart beat, doubt TB would. Maybe Edler + Hansen for just Drouin |

The deal would breakdown as Edler/Hansen for Drouin and taking the Filpula contract, I dont think that is nearly enough for Drouin (also Tampa need to make more cap space). Swap Callahan instead and you might have a better chance to make a deal, but I really think this proposal overvalues the Canuck players/undervalues Drouin |

Id take Drouin over Edler and Hansen in the playoffs any day |

Do they both have playoff coaches in this comparison? |

Well then I would take the two hall of fame players over the single hall of famer. Its just simple math |

Callahan was plan B. Yes its about cap space for TB too👍
Simply searching for a game breaker sorely needed here. |

I'd love Drouin, but after Stamkos and Kucherov, Drouin might be their next most important forward. The cost to get him would be tough for Van to make |

Your right, I was thinking of the useful guy in TB, Palat, If we had to take Callahans contract back then yes it would be a good deal for both sides. |
