it was a very good win for the amerks who will probably lose baptiste and his 14 goals in 18 ahl games to the sabres
- Michael Pachla

Hopefully it transfers over but every time they get hot They go cold with the big club

perhaps they can put baptiste in a position to succeed amongst the top-six...methinks having him play on a line with o'reilly and reinhart might be a good spot...move carrier to the bottom-six where, for now, he belongs

Made it home alive despite the snow coming in through the windshield. Great game to get to watch from Rachacha.

Baptiste really has turned it around, I thought he had a quiet year last year for what was expected of him. Him with RoR and Samson sounds very interesting.

Bailey works really hard, has speed, but just can't seem to burry his chances. I wonder if he could be the guy to simply fetch the puck for a Nylander/Eichel/Reinhart type linemate. He set up 5-6 scoring chances tonight.

He's there and looks like a guy who make a really big play at any moment, but he also looks a little timid, like a guy still feeling things out, someone who doesn't want to commit to the play and have it blow up in his face. He needs more time, but I think, just like what Bap is now doing at the AHL level, he'll figure it out.

And people also have to remember he should be in the CHL right now but we're lucky to have that loophole I would not be mad if he stayed there for two years and played a max of 20 games with us until he's ready

Justin Schultz can go eat a Richard. I had him in and at the last minute I pulled him and put Cole in. Cole has a whopping 3 points and Schultz has 32. Fruck. I have a slim 2 point lead but a sizable lead in games remaining.

Do you think maybe it's just the talent difference between the leagues? Couldn't possibly be that though could it?

Edit: They also go from playing top 6 minutes to 4th line minutes. That really doesn't help them at all either.

Jesus, how long was it spider webbed? I had a friend that drove around with that for over a year, and I told him "you know, nothing even has to hit it for it to go tits up on you." Eventually he ended up getting it fixed but other than a few cracks expanding a bit it never fully broke.

As long as you don't say we should've drafted him you're fine. Tread lightly.

crappy amerks, the lousy farm team of the buffalo sabres, beat the awesome Toronto marlies with some of the greatest prospects ever from one of the greatest prospect pools in all of hockey, by a 5-2 score...

in three games the amerks are 3-0-0-0 against Toronto having outscored the awesomeness that is the marlies by a combined 13-6...

that is all

- Michael Pachla

they own the marlies, for sure

wish it would carry over to when they play the blah teams

I don't get why everybody is so over protective over anyone saying anything negative about Sam Reinhart. Up to this point there are a handful of players drafted after him that are outperforming him. Things can still change in the future but right now he isn't the top forward from his class.

I'm off to bed.

Not my 2nd overall pick

edit: for the record Reinhart was who I wanted at #1 or #2

I believe it and at the time it was the right decision. It might still end up being that way but hindsight's always a female dog
