I don't know if anybody else noticed, but did anyone else notice all the hot Dallas Stars skater girls with Santa hats on getting out of Lundqvist's way when he had to leave the ice last night

I understand your sentiment on this. This article is not a referendum on ESPN's knowledge of hockey...that ship has long sailed... but it is a referendum on the tabloidish almost trollish nature of their headlines and timing for ratings and not actual hockey discussion.

I'll agree on this. I stopped watching/reading ESPN about 7-8 years ago, if not more. Unless you want news on the NBA, they're useless.

But, to the general point, there should have been 5 guys on the ice last night trying to murder Cody Eakin before he left the ice, possibly after. Glad Lundqvist is okay, the game is better when its stars are healthy.

I find that I really enjoy their reports on the consistency of LeBron James' bowel movements and where they fall on the Bristol chart.

God please.. trade him, and get a late pick. then we can end the conversations about him, and maybe that pick becomes someone who can add value to the organization

All these fair game comments are because it Lundqvist, if it's their goalie they whine like no other, (frank)ing trash hypocrite flaming piles of garbage fans in the NHL, mostly Devils, Isles, Flyers and Pens fans

isn't amazing how loyal we are? you guys win two Cups in the early 90's and then disappear to the point where the Penguins are ready to move to Kansas City and Bettman orchestrates Crosby to your team just to keep them in Pittsburgh and to appease Mario, and now you guys act like you are the greatest fans in the world.

Equipment the goalies wear should always keep them from "fair-game" checks. Their equipment is at least 4x heavier than a forwards. More protection...sure, but less balance. The masks they wear significantly reduces the vision they would need to prepare or brace themselves for any hits.

In the end, no matter how you look at it, goalies are more susceptible to severe injuries if they are allowed to be hit.

- mames11

Their masks aren't protecting them any more from a head shot than a player helmet, his leg pads and chest protector didn't help him from that hit

Hank can slash the squeegees out of their hands, and then Trump can grab them when they bend down to pick them up.

For the record, I don't want Donald Trump involved in anything that remotely affects my life. But I'm not moving to Canada so I guess that's happening.

Sorry, we're building a wall to keep out Flyers fans.
