On it's own it doesn't mean much, but when compared to other teammates who get about the same usage it can. It's just like everything else, a piece of the puzzle. Risto's is terrible, but he's on the ice for half the game playing against the other team's best. And the Sabres don't exactly score a lot of goals, so it's going to be terrible.
