Then use FA $$ on your over looked FA wingers like Stempniak/Marchessault was this year.

That guy has single handedly ruins their gorgeous practice facility.

I was approached to take over down there and at first it sounded really good then I started asking around calling my equipment reps and a few other people I know that do business with them.

He is trying to run a hockey rink (and team) like the military. It doesn't work that way. All of his employees at the practice rink are miserable, there is no fun allowed there (why else would you want to work at an ice rink).

It was an easy pass...

If you think Sam's cap is along the lines of lesser knowns like you mentioned, meaning 40-50 points per year, then yes to the trade.

If you think Sam will be a 50-70 point player in another year or two, that D man better be very, very good coming back, and I'm not talking Barrie or Faulk as I would want more than that if you think Sam is going to be that productive.
