Blanket statement that a guy scoring a goal is worth more than guy setting up goal is just ridiculous.

I have seen several instances this season of Marner making absolutely unfathomable passes to the slot, only to have Bozak be completely surprised by them and unable to bury them. In a situation like that, you love having Marner's playmaking ability but know deep down Matthews would have buried it. Furthermore, I have seen a few occasions where Nylander or Matthews end up being the guy hanging back and Hyman just can't handle the beauty pass. It's just as frustrating

On the other hand, you have guys like Phil who were here for years and had to score his ass off on his own since he had no playmaking linemates.

I prefer a fine balance of the two.

TBH you sounded like you were trolling when you first posted, mainly because everyone here had to deal with chirps on account of Laine being on fire while Matthews was in a bit of a rut. Now that he's back rolling again there hasn't been much talk of that nature.

I went to The Peg in early October on business. Stayed right dead smack in the middle of the city. What a shyte hole !! Winnipeg looks like a rundown town out of the mid 80's. The rift raft hanging around was something else !
