Werenski has been better, and would have been the Calder favourite if the season ended today.
Yeah...I just can't see it. Gardiner has been better than years prior, but has been better than Rielly most nights? No. - Steven_Seagull
Agreed on point one.
And point two, to me is at least debatable. As in you could make the case for it.
Neither is "crazy". To post they are crazy is pretty crazy. |

Boys, I'm about to be banned in Tanner's thread, so I just wanted to wish you all a merry Christmas.
And a happy new year.
And a happy 2018, because I think my ban is going to be a long one... |

You're not getting banned for using statistics to show the limited hockey knowledge hockey blogger who hides behind stats that he's wrong. Unless the long ban post was already deleted? |

Doesn't look that bad. I think you made a very valid point except for maybe this part:
Bwa ha ha ha ha ha bwha haha ha ha ha!
Your blind adherence to whatever crap is presented as "advanced metrics" is so effing laughable, I think I may have just pooped my pants.
Happy Hoiidays just in case.

So far, everything is still up.
If he does this to egg us on, bravo, Mr. Tanner, bravo.
But I sincerely don't think he is trolling us. His absolute refusal to admit he was wrong on a common grammar mistake leads me to believe he has a serious chip on his shoulder - he needs to think of himself as superior to others, to mask the failings in his own life.
And the great irony of my post here is that I'm making wild assumptions based upon what little I know of James Tanner - which is pretty much what he does with every one of his blog posts. |

He's beyond idiotic. I don't believe for a second he is a real person. It's an elaborate prank. |

very easy stat to explain Toronto still relatively close to playoff spot:
Toronto has least man games lost (or salary lost for active players (excluding lupul, hornton etc.)) of all NHL teams.
Teams that lose a few key players are obviously losing points.
If Leafs can keep this up (avoiding injuries) they might indeed make a chance on making playoffs. |

The fact that they haven't had any injuries to key players, yet are still bottom 10 in the league, doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence that they will make the playoffs this year. |
