Collage does nothing for you.

Well, you could just sniff the glue you use to make the collage. That'll do something for you.

Does anyone know of any place where I could get an Eichel replica jersey for my kid before Christmas? I can find the $100+ "real" jerseys everywhere. He is growing so fast that I am hoping to just get a replica.

NHL.com and click on the shop link, Great Skate, maybe Pure Hockey, DĀ”cks(but that's likely to be the most expensive), the Sabres store.

Gionta
- SABRES 89

Even IF Gionta comes back,
It's quite possible they transition to a younger captain

And even if not...
Gionta probably has 2 more years here, tops

The next Captain will eventually be O'Reilly
Might not be next year,
But it will be ROR

Ahhh. Wish I had that locker room pass to hear him lead the team.
- cabin

I would say because of the way the team reacts to him on the ice. But you're right we have no idea what goes on in the room. I've been harping on that forever. But just based on on-ice play, it's definitely his team.

Yep I remember

I was hoping for another forward but didn't dwell on it . Figured we wouldn't see the player for a few years anyways .

- cabin

I was hyping up Risto at that pick all along
I understand that ppl want offense,
But I think u need that "top pair" defense to be able to poop teams down
And I never saw Myers being that type of player
So for me,
Risto was a no brainer

All that said...
O'Reilly should be our next Captain

Trying to see if he would catch that but he didn't.

If we're talking about David Savard the Blue Jackets can keep him. Plus he's another (frank)ing right shot.
- Wetbandit1

The idea here is that he'd replace bogosian

That's what happens when you play a low cycle game. Our offense is boring because we don't have the speed to be a transition team
- jcragcrumple

We absolutely have the speed, we don't have the passing. As every coach has said ever, the puck is faster than any player. If you pass well you can have a transition game.

I don't know, I'm not paying the price they'd ask for him.

I think ppl are prematurely putting Guhle in our top4
Eventually... sure, ok
But definitely not next year
Probably not for a few years

if his d partner is really good i think you can put him there. might be some growing pains but eventually he'll fit in. He should be in the nhl right now imo.

Idk he showed he belonged when he was here. He should have made the team out of camp.

He isn't going to be a HUGE point producer that's not his game but he certainly belongs, I wouldn't be surprised to see him start on the bottom pairing and by December be on the second pair for good.

Like I mentioned . THe D that were drafted are usually a few years away. Very few and a rarity they start out flying in the NHL. Even Risto sucked but showed promise every game he played .

I think Cousins is proving to be pretty good...
but you don't think the Skins are gonna lock home up

I am still not sure it was Risto who sucked...the team was god awful when he first got here.

Give Guhle someone to lean on a bit and he will be just fine IMO

Yeah I don't see how the Redskins let him walk, I wasn't counting him as available...

After the RG3 debacle they cannot let Cousins walk.

Maybe...
but why rush him into that role?
Makes no sense

In a 2 game sample size?
Come on...

And he wasn't that great at camp this year
Actually, compared to last year, the accounts were mostly disappointing that he didn't take a leap forward

I do think he's got the potential to be top4
Just not next year
And there's ZERO reason to rush him into that role either
He's super young,
And bringing him along at a slower pace will only help in the long run

I actually think he'd be better off playing a year in the AHL
Sure, we wanna be good asap...
but we need to develop these kids the right way at the same time
