I mean calling them completely useless is admittedly an overreaction but they give the least amount of value of any player on this team mostly because of what they are being paid. On any contending team both of them slot in as bottom pairing guys.

He was bad before this though...Ive always loathed this argument with bogosian as well.

If O'Reilly or Okposo were coming off injury and needed time to adjust id have no problem with that. Because they've been very good before and i know they're capable of being very good again. Ditto Eichel and the high ankle sprain.

Bogosian and Kulikov healthy are not good defensemen. Their high draft status and big cap hit do not change that.

just curious, how much did you watch them when they were with their previous teams?...methinks not that much as neither Winnipeg nor florida garner much attention in this area especially when neither were playoff contenders and neither had a bonafide superstar on their team

I would say the best bet would just be a straight-up trade for a player of similar caliber and draft status who has also struggled to find his way. It's been mention Lazar from Ottawa. At this point, why not? what's to lose? Girgensons been a joke for about 1.5 - 2 seasons now. This is not a slump. This is not the result of a lingering injury. Somethings wrong here and either have a sit down with the guy and see if you can point why he's not progressing or start making phone calls to move him out. Having him take up a roster spot when we have at least 4 prospects who are close to the NHL needing to gain experience and looks but can't get the time because Girgensons is taking up a spot, doesn't do us any good.

Grant equally should be sent down or waived or whatever. Having make the team was a mistake but it was one we don't have to live with.

What was the talk about Guhle? Was it something about the Avs calling? I hope Murray doesn't consider moving him, we don't have any defense in the system that will be ready anytime soon.

I would love to give him and Ennis Wonderlic Tests and see their level of intelligence because it seems since the Sabres started to play a system again with Bylsma they have been lost.
