Oh, totally agree. I think every team in the league would want him. We can't afford to lose him, though. Without Guhle, our next round of available defenseman who can maybe play at the NHL level would be Nelson, that's about it.

I am sure other teams want him but I bet he is just about untouchable due to the Sabres need for quality young D unless he was part of a deal that blew TM away.

I know plus/minus is a pretty useless stat, but i was looking at perreaults and ramsAys career stats recently. Perreault was +40, ramsay was +350 or something ridiculous. The french connection was legendary, but ramsay and luce did a hell of a job. Its hard to compare eras when the approach was so different.

They aren't AHL'ers, but they also aren't players you would feel safe jumping up a pair due to injury.
