I think it would have looked better here if he had somebody to compliment his game. It always felt like he was just another soft euro d (darcy was trying to collect a whole set apparently- you could make the argument that it could have worked, but it didnt). I remember watching him play with chara in the olympics and damned if he wasnt better than him.

I think it would have looked better here if he had somebody to compliment his game. Yeah, we may have needed a different D makeup, less soft and he would have been even more of a force but he was/is a good D, but you wouldn't have known that by the reactionary fans at the time.

I get that...totally...but I will say this much...bogo's injuries have kept him from playing the type of game he's capable, of which we saw against Carolina...he jumped into the play for a shot then used his speed to get back and absolutely plaster a 'Cane player into the boards...

although he'll never be nik lidstrom-smart, he's hardly a disaster, imo

Viktor Stalberg, that was awesome. DeeeeeStroyed. I was waiting for the penalty. Borderline Neil on Drury. Too bad he had twinkle toes on Lina's goal. He's frustrating. I wanna say he started getting more points in the last 20 or so games last year. Maybe on the PP2. If he's producing points, he's serviceable, just like Franson. If he's not, he's no good for the team cause he certainly isn't a good stay at home. They had an in game stat in the Lina game that he had the highest 1st pass conversion or something in the game for the Sabres' d men. Chew on that stat darlings.
