When you are talented but not producing sometimes a little kick in the butt is good. He might be grateful for this someday if it helps him get on his game.

How the (frank) are we the second worst scoring team in hockey? Only thing I can point to is the defense. Risto is great and Mccabe is a serviceable young guy working his way into be an integral part of the team. Kuli, Gorges and Bogo I don't like to watch. It's awful hockey when they are out there. the 6-7 guys are ok. This defense isn't creating flow in play to assist the offense and has little scoring themselves.

Dude is not 100% and he's trying to make up for lost time. He has an elite skill set. If the rest of our team steps up he'll be unstoppable. You win by overwhelming teams. The way we play now is not near par, let alone overwhelming.

Those are mystifying pickups. Never liked Bogosian, Never realized Gorges was so bad, didn't like the Kuli for Pysyk trade, and Franson peaked years ago.

How much can he do? How about score more, set up more 5 on 5? He is usually a catalyst for the PP but I think he needs to do more 5 on 5 and have thought so since last year. There have been quite a few games this year he has come empty and I realize he might not be 100% yet but I'm seeing similar trends to last year. A lot of production on the PP, they need more goals 5 on 5 from him.
