Not only tanked, but tried to speed up the process without being patient. A huge mistake. Toronto looks really good with rookies on pace for over 60 points.

No problem with people being critical. I don't even mind pessimism or what I deem to be pessimism (I understand my view can be wrong as well).

What I don't like are the ones about RoR being lazy or Reinhart being a bust. While there are more glaring issues than I like to admit, there are also some great parts of our team.

I guess it just amazes me that there are people who I literally don't see comments from unless we lose. If we lose, they're here, if not, they're sulking because (I think) it doesn't fit there narrative that we are doomed.

And as if that changes our fortunes drastically from one game to another is fairly mind boggling too.

The last really 2 or 3 games it looks like they're just floating, like they don't give a poop, and that usually only happens when a coach loses the room.

And a quick note about the Bills and Tom Coughlin. If they hire him it's going to get really bad before it, if ever, gets good. Just one anecdote. This is a man who thinks if you're 5 minutes early for a meeting you're on-time and if you're "on-time" you're late. And he takes that poop seriously, benching players because of it. I absolutely hate it when I agree on a time with someone and they're late, but that's a bit fanatical.

But seriously, he's a good goalie. We need defensemen. A coach. And a forward or 2. Other than the SO what is so bad about him? His SV% is way above average with a team that doesn't give a (frank) playing in front of him.

And people in here have been comparing the Sabres to the Pens since day 1. I'm not one of them, but they just happened to lose big last night and they're a good team, so it was convenient to use them as an example of how one regular season game is meaningless.

His save percentage is ranked 23rd of any goalie facing at least 100 shots. He's fine. Totally unspectacular too

I went to a bunch of games both of those seasons, and in 06-07 it was hilarious hearing people talk, what's offside(s)? Butchering the definition of icing, pronouncing Derek Roy as Patrick Roy...
