Outside of Eichel, who's 20, and coming off injury, who's a proven goal scorer? Moulson is a dinosaur, Okposo, ROR, and Reinhart are all playmakers, and Kane is good for 15 games a season.

We have some good players on this team, I certainly expect a better product than what has shown the last few games. When Jack first came back it seemed the entire team had a jump in the step and we beat some pretty darn good teams.

We wouldn't have done that without talent. Any team in the league would enjoy having an extra one of these players listed above so to say we don't have talent I think is a stretch or at least very pessimistic.

There's a lot of baggage for sure, but he's not getting production out of guys who are known producers. I'd say its a compounding problem, not only do we have extra baggage, but Disco's tendency to utilize vets over rookies is costing us big time.

I didn't say we're talentless, its just not nearly enough. Look at that list. two d-men, 4 playmakers and one really good forechecker? That adds up to what we are now, not good.

Homie is right we are 2-3 pieces away. 2-3 because 2 on the team need to go and therefore need to be replaced and one serious upgrade.

You take out those three (which is going to happen long before our core is too old) and add in Nylander, Guhle and a Free Agent/Another Top 10 pick, I'm still thinking we have the building blocks.
