Will have to check with my TBL source, but there are rumblings that it means that their backup goaltender will carry the majority of the load for approximately 3-4 weeks.
If teams think the injury is something that won't be a prolonged problem and a team thinks he might resign with them then his trade value is not diminished in my opinion. But I also think the Flower of Pittsburgh will be the issue if the Bolts do decide to trade Bishop as the Flower has 2 years left after this year at a respectable 5.75M so if you get him you know what you have for 2 more years. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
