Agreed Michael. He's not untouchable for me but im not putting him on the move for any value wagon. - Sabresfan-365
I'd seriously look and see if any GM still thinks he can be an impact player. Because I'm certainly feeling he's not.
Did you see the goal William Nylander scored last night? I don't see Sam ever beating Ekman-Larsson In a race and then deking a goalie |

Nothing against Samson, but he would bring the best return of the non-core players I identified.
I don't think he'll ever be any better than very good.
IF we can get a top prospect with some speed for him or a top 4 dman that is controllable for years, I would move him. |

I miss the old Gus - homiedclown
Wouldn't it be nice to have a former 1st round pick back, it was only 2 years ago we all though he was a core piece, thanks coach for trying to fit a round peg into no hole.
Last I checked a good coach adapts to his players strengths, NOT make them do what they are bad at.

bingo, the talent on this team is better than the performance results to date.
However, as you point out if they are only 2 points below this time last year...when co pared to the goal of 2 points more per month to reach the 95 pat mark...it isn't a complete disaster...YET.
I'd fire Disco Dunce as soon as Monday...for one can't be that cruel to do it today or. Tomorrow.
Now, for those who think they need to "blow it up" ... then the first move is to fire GMTM since this is now his roster and the burden falls squarely on his shoulders...therefore you can't give him a "do-over" ... time to listen to what Einstein said.
I am not there and believe it is squarely on DIsco Dunce's poopty system that has more confused than excelling. |

Its both. Coach has made some head scratching decisions, but so has the 10 million dollar second pair. Improvements are needed in both areas. Thankfully the core, while unfinished, is very likeable. - Sabresfan-365
Kulikov has been a disaster, but he's only here for one season |

i'm no there yet...
although I agree with the new core, not sure why sam's getting grief...he's third on the team with 7g and 12a...last year through 33 games he had 8g and 6a... - Michael Pachla
reinhart had 42 points last year, on pace for 47 points this year
playing only 17 minutes a night
if every sabre increased their production by 10 percent, this team would not be a bottom feeder
when you lose to the devils, canes, islanders, bruins, leafs, panthers
your a bottom feeder |

If they keep this coach we will be adding another top pick this summer

reinhart is a play maker, not a goal scorer
one more reason why eichel and reinhart should be kept together
and okposo and kane should be playing with ror
it should be reinhart, eichel and nylander next season |

I don't think the Sabres eat anything on the bottom...The are the bottom feed for others to enjoy.

He's a good player. No where near great for a former top pick.
We need another great player. Badly. |

It's not giving up on him. It's giving up a player with value at a position the team is fairly strong at for a position of need, something all great teams do.

It will be a real shame if we trade him for nothing and then that Gus returns.

Hopkins or Gabriel ? - SABRES 89
Hopkins...
New QB who isn't afraid to sling it.
Plus they are still in the mix playoff wise and Cinncy's D is not what it used to be and no Lamar Miller so they are going to throw a bunch |

I am sure if they knew they would get eichel and ror, they would have gone a different direction
at the time, reinhart was their biggest priority, even over ekblad |

$600 for me today...Against my dad too none the less.
Him and I have been back and forth all season with who scored the most points. I should win though with AJ Green not playing and Randall Cobb being hurt he has to play Jimmy Graham now. I like my chances.
I just need a big day from McCoy |

TE is weak for me, dropped Fleener and picked up Don Sims. I have the Cards TE but not a good idea to start him against the Seattle |

I'd still be open to putting either eichel or ror on the top wing with okposo and letting reinhart center nylander and kane

I pulled 1650 by splitting all three leagues. I'm either going to be happy I split, or mad I didn't go for it |

I got McCoy also but had to pull Lamar Miller for Hyde. |
